Sunday's Recap

-Taylor Phinney beat his teammate Alex Dowsett in the short opening prologue of the Tour de L'Avenir. He also takes over as the GC leader.

-Patrik Sinkewitz beat out the likes of Giovanni Visconti and Peter Sagan in the bunch sprint to win the Giro Della Romagna.

-Lars Boom notched another win in his belt, taking the one day Grote Prijs Jef Scherens over Maxime Vantomme and Fabian Wegmann in a mini-sprint between the members of a 5 man breakaway.

-Alessandro Petacchi withdraws from the Vuelta after crashing in stage 8. The severity of his injury as well as when he will return is up in the air.

-Jerome Coppel of Saur Sojasun goes solo to win the Tour Du Doubs.

-Joel Pearson wins the Tour of the Murray River.

-Marianne Vos wins the final stage bunch sprint, and the time bonus also gives her the overall title at the Holland Ladies Tour.
