It seems that there may be some serious consequences for Radioshack's "jerseygate" scandal at the Tour in which they opted to wear Lance's black jerseys to the podium rather than their official ones. Though they were only doing it to support cancer, the race officials still said that they were unable to do so because they were not the official team colors. If the UCI chooses, we very well may see Leipheimer, Horner, Kloden, Brajkovic, Popovych and the rest of the team have to sit out the worlds. Personally, I think the whole idea is stupid. I don't see why the officials wouldn't just let the Radioshack boys wear the special jerseys, especially considering it was the final stage and it wouldn't have any effect on the actual race. They were only showing their support to a good cause, and I foresee some angry fan reactions if these premiere riders are forced to sit out the Worlds.
