Taylor Phinney and Alex Dowsett are working their way towards becoming household names, and their stellar performance at the Tour of Utah today is a major step. The two Livestrong U-23 squad teammates destroyed the field at the prologue time trial, with Phinney winning in a record breaking 6:02 and Dowsett only 3 seconds behind him. Both young men easily smashed the previous Tour of Utah record of 6:10, and were very happy with each others success. Race favorite Levi Leipheimer fared a bit differently, finishing 10th place about 18 seconds back. Though it was not a result that will cost him very much in the GC hunt, it was still not what anyone expected out of Levi. Levi twittered that he struggled with the transition from mountain to road bike (he races LT100 over the weekend), and I believe that this is a very logical explanation. Don't worry though, as he has plenty of time to make up the ground. Stage Results/General Classification

Tomorrow's stage, like many of the others, is a major challenge for the riders. There are a few early climbs and one big one near the end followed by a tricky descent.
