Bauke Mollema did his best to make a case for the GC, but just could not completely shake the chasers behind him. Mollema did get the stage victory, though, and certainly deserves it after the great performance he put in on the final climb. Martin finished 9 seconds back along with many of the other contenders (Grega Bole actually finished 7 seconds back with a small group of riders). This was an incredibly entertaining finish to watch, as it became a duel on the climbs. Though Mollema got the best of everyone, it was Dan Martin who had the biggest smile at the end of the day.Stage Results

Keep an eye on Grega Bole tomorrow, as he is in the middle of a heated points battle with Allan Davis and only 8 seconds behind in the general classification. The terrain sets up perfectly for a bunch sprint, but I wouldn't put it past Bole to launch some sort of desperation attack on the flats.
