Steve Morabito was the strongest man in the field today, but apparently not the smartest. He launched his "winning attack" on a round-a-bout, and stayed ahead to the finish. The only problem was that he illegally went around the left side, while the rest of the field went on the right. The officials reviewed this and relegated his stage win, giving him the same time as the peloton. This also took away the yellow jersey he would have won. Maxime Bouet, who won the field sprint, was given the stage victory.
Bouet was very happy with his victory, and believes he has a strong chance of winning tomorrow. Everyone will be chasing Tony Gallopin tomorrow, as he holds a 2 second lead over 2nd place Greg Van Avermaet.Stage Results

Tomorrow's stage is still incredibly wide open going into the Grand Columbier climb. Leader Tony Gallopin or 2nd place Greg Van Avermaet aren't expected to survive, but third place Maxime Bouet certainly has a chance. The ever dangerous Haimar Zubeldia sits behind him, and is hungry for a chance to prove he still can be a threat. Young-gun Tejay Van Garderen and "down but not out" Steve Morabito sit in the top 10 as well, both within 10 seconds of the lead and only 4 behind Bouet. Christophe Le Mevel also waits in the wings 18 seconds back and race favorite John Gadret is certainly not out of it either, sitting 20 seconds back.
