After just missing out on the glory yesterday, Michael Van Stayen got his time to shine Thursday with a well deserved win in stage 2 of the Tour of Denmark. After Saxo Bank managed to chase down the early 2 man breakaway, they launched Jakob Fuglsang on an attack of their own. Fuglsang was matched by a few riders, but only Mark Renshaw was left on his wheel after he attacked again. Their efforts would not be enough in the long run, as they were caught just in time for a bunch sprint. Van Stayen, in addition to taking the stage, also takes over control as the overall leader in the General Classification, points standings, and young rider competition. Stage Results

11 Teams tied for Lead
Tomorrow's stage looks from the surface to be yet another sprint finish, though certainly not an easy run in to the finish. I would guess that it may fall to a breakaway, due to the small hills as the field gets close to the finishing line.
