Romain Feillu won the bunch sprint of a rather boring day in the Vuelta a Burgos. There isn't really much to report on for the stage itself, nor the bunch sprint. Feillu picked the correct line, and had the most speed. No change in the GC, and the only major standings change was Feillu taking over the points lead from Pozzato. Stage Results

The truth is that this race is very much up in the air going into the final stage tomorrow. The tricky summit finish could lead to some time gaps, and there are certainly a large number of interesting possibilities. The most well-known name and probably best climber, Samuel Sanchez, waits in the wings but must make up a whole 22 seconds and overtake 9 riders in the standings. Spanish champion Ivan Gutierrez, also a very good rider, is only 9 seconds back and nobody stands between him and the leader. There is also the possibility of the strong Vladmir Karpets or Oliver Zaugg, both within 15 seconds. And who can forget the leader, Gianpaolo Caruso, who certainly has more than his work cut out for him to defend his lead. The one thing he has going for him (other than the 9 second advantage) is the help of teammate Karpets on the tough run-in to the climbs.
