TDF: Astana

There really shouldn't be very much explaining as to the objective of Astana. The have the best rider in the field, and they will do anything they can to get him the win.

Alberto Contador won the Tour last year in dominating fashion. I could ramble on about his individual qualities that make him so good but all that really needs to be said is that if Astana plays their cards right and Contador is on top of his game, he will collect his 3rd Tour de France.
Alexander Vinokourov is probably the "best of the rest" on Astana. If something were to happen to Contador (injury, etc), the team will probably turn their support to him assuming he is still in contention. As for stealing a stage win, I will say that Daniel Navarro would be the one to do that.
Navarro is a great climber, and has broken away from the peloton before on mountainous stages. Again, the focus at that time will be on Contador, but if he has enough teammates to help him already they may give Navarro the nod to try for a stage.
