TDF: Omega Pharma Lotto

Omega Pharma Lotto, known previously as Silence Lotto, is experiencing a bit of a rebuilding phase since losing top rider Cadel Evans. They are bringing a decent team, with most of their riders having tour experience. The one man who doesn't have much tour experience is 27 year old team leader Jurgen Van der Broeck.

Van der Broeck put up an incredibly strong top 15 ride last year in his tour debut, and much of the same is expected from him this year. I wouldn't put him near the front for the overall GC, but he can string some good consistent rides together and get himself another top 15 or even top 10. It will be crucial for the success of the entire team that he does so. Beyond Van der Broeck, there are several good support riders (like Aerts) but nobody I would expect to be hearing about in the next few weeks.
