A few tidbits from today...

-Denis Menchov announced today that he plans to stay with Geox-TMC despite the team not being invited to this year's Tour de France. Gotta compliment him for taking the high road, but also have to wonder what it means for his career. This is his prime right now, and many argue that with Contador out this was his best chance of winning the Tour this year. This also puts an end to the rumors that Saxo was looking into signing Menchov to replace the suspended Contador. None the less, the majority of his season will now revolve around the Giro along with teammate Carlos Sastre assuming they get invited.

-Venezualan Jonathan Monsalve wrapped up his overall victory at the Tour de Langkawi on Tuesday afternoon. Also worth noting is that Italian sprinter Andrea Guardini, who won the final stage, won a total of 5 stages in the 10 stage race. Impressive if you ask me.

-Paris-Nice route was announced today. Worth noting is the 27 km ITT for stage 6 of the 8 stage race.
