Saturday's Recap

It is redundant to state every day for the next 3 weeks that most attention was focused on the Vuelta, so I will not repeat it every day. Here are some of what else happened today:

-Two of cycling's future stars dueled it out in the Giro Del Veneto, with Daniel Oss beating out Liquigas teammate Peter Sagan for the win. The two put in such fast sprints that they pulled a few seconds away from the peloton as soon as they kicked. Sacha Modolo finished 3rd.

-Monica Holler took the final stage while Emma Johansson wrapped up the GC at the female Trophee D'Or.

-Nicolas Edet won stage 5 of the Giro Cyclistico Della Valle D'Aosta while Petr Ignatenko held on to his GC lead with the final stage tomorrow.

-Omar Hasanin won stage 3 of the Tour of Victory, with Mutlu Mert holding on to the GC lead.
