It was a day for the sprinters, with a sprinting specialist taking the stage and another sprint specialist taking the yellow jersey. It was an incredibly flat run in to the finish after the solitary climb, and the sprinters took advantage of it. The fastest man of the day was Stephane Poulhies, who beat Romain Feillu to the line by about half a length for the stage. Feillu took 2nd, and with his time bonus he will take over the General Classification lead. All other GC contenders stayed about in the same place.Stage Results

Tomorrow's stage is so flat that if there were no corners one may be able to roll a ball from the midway point to the finish line. Without a doubt it is a sprint.
