Hushovd to Garmin

The rumors that Thor Hushovd would follow his sponsor to Garmin-Cervelo for next year's season. There really isn't much more on this subject undiscussed, so I will get straight to What it Means:

For Hushovd: Thor's days as a world class sprinter may be over. With Farrar clearly the top man Garmin in the sprint department, Hushovd's role looks to be focusing more on riding classics and stage hunting in breakaways. He will still be around for a little while, but he won't be as prominent of a figure in the mass sprints as we are used to.

For Cervelo: Nothing. They have closed shop already.

For Garmin: They really bolstered their classics lineup, and maybe even got themselves a top leadout man for Tyler. Did they need Hushovd? no. But can they put him to good use? certainly
