We have all been treated to 2 spectacular sprint finishes in a row, and I think we may see more of the same tomorrow. With Cavendish, Hushovd, Petacchi, and McEwen riding well, those teams will be especially anxious to pull back the breakaway of the day and set up another bunch sprint. It will not be so easy tomorrow, though, as there are a few medium climbs late that could drop some of the sprinters off the back. The climbs may also disrupt the overall tempo of the peloton and allow the breakaway to escape. Some of the more keen breakaway riders may look to get clear early and perhaps try to steal one for the sprinters. HTC Columbia will especially look to pull them back for Cavendish, who has the momentum but still needs all the wins he could get to try and get back into the green jersey competition. Cancellara should also keep yellow, as he will want one more Maillot Jaune before they enter the Alps on Saturday.
