Stage 20 Preview

Stage 20
Start: Longjumeau
End: Paris
Length: 102.5 km
Difficulty Profile (1-10): 1

As is the custom with the final stage of the Tour, it will simply be a victory lap for Alberto Contador. There will be no attacks, and even if there were they wouldn't last. While Contador likely enjoys a glass of champeign on the road in to Paris, the sprinters will be gearing up for one last show. After a few laps up and down the famed Champs Elysees, the sprinters will have one last go at getting a stage win and the green jersey. Perhaps the most compelling story of the day will be that of Lance Armstrong, who will be riding into Paris for one final time. Expect the crowds in Paris to give him and the other riders a huge round of applause on a job well done.
