Stage 10Start: Chambery
Finish: Gap
Length: 179 km
Difficulty Profile (1-10): 5.5
Tomorrow is a day tailor-made for the breakaways. It is not an overly difficult stage, but it is hard enough that it will not be a sprinters day. It shouldn't be too hard for the sprinters to keep up, as they will be resting up for stages 11-13 on the flat. Contador and Schleck seem content to wait until the Pyrenees to settle the GC, so I wouldn't expect the yellow jersey to change hands tomorrow. Tomorrow may be the day that Lance Armstrong makes a move to win a stage, something he said he wants to do now that his GC hopes are finished. I would also keep an eye out for a rider like Basso or Wiggins trying to make one last desperate push to get back into contention before the flat stages put attacks on hold for a few days.
