Suisse: In Top Form!

There is no greater test as to whether one is ready for the Tour de France than the dreaded individual time trial. If today was any indication, Frank Schleck sure is ready. Schleck came back and erased a 38 second defecit with a great TT ride and won himself the title. Schleck came into the day as an outside shot, as he needed to make up 38 seconds and pass 3 riders. Equally impressive was the man who climbed up to 2nd. Lance Armstrong showed he can still time trial with the world's best with the 11th best ride of the day. Armstrong was extremely pleased with the result, tweeting that he believes he is ready for the Tour de France. Schleck's Saxo Bank teammate Jakob Fuglsang rounded out the podium with the 7th best time of the day. Overnight leader Gesink fell off the podium after he was unable to pace himself throughout the entire stage. Tony Martin won the stage, bumping down favorite Fabian Cancellara. Martin was unable to pull back enough for the overall win, but was still very pleased with his day.

FINAL PODIUM
1. Frank Schleck
2. Lance Armstrong
3. Jakob Fuglsang

MARCUS BURGHARDT won the points competition. He certainly deserves it after taking 2 of the 9 individual stages.

MATHIAS FRANK won the "King of the Mountains" competition. He was able to get himself into a fee breakaways throughout the week, and reckognized the checkpoints for the victory.

Obviously, SAXO BANK won the team competition. 2 riders on the podium, and several others near the top sealed the deal.

And again, Congratulations to Frank Schleck, your 2010 Tour de Suisse champion.
